Surprise! (or not)

Surprises are fun, aren't they? At least the good ones. No one likes the bad surprises...illness, flats, those sorts of things, but I'm talking about the good ones! Planning parties, planning get togethers, etc. I mean they are all in order to cheer someone up, make their day or something along those lines. Sometimes a LOT of work and effort goes into making the surprise happen. then things happen....someone gets sick and isn't up to the travel (that's happened to me before) someone can't get away as originally planned, coordinating efforts with others and someone blabs. Sometimes people plan things with one another "if" they can arrange it and then maybe it seems like it wasn't going to happen, only to find it was with a white lie involved and then it falls thru and everyone involved is so disappointed. It's so sad. So frustrating.

Things happen for a reason...we have to stay focused. Although we may not know why the surprise was foiled, it surely happened for a reason...all things do, right? Yep. (except for when people just can't keep their mouth shut about a surprise party just because they want to tell the recipient...there's just no reason for that!) Geeze!
